XT-3000

XT-3000 is an environmentally hardened, custom, dual channel low noise block down-converter (LNB) operating in the S-band frequency range of 2.2 to 2.4 GHz developed for a telemetry application. This product provides extremely low noise figure coupled with very high input power handing capability as well as very demanding filtering implementations coupled with tight channel to channel and unit to unit phase balance across the full frequency and temperature ranges. In addition to the electrical performance challenges, the environmental requirements of extreme temperature, shock, vibration, condensing humidity and potential exposure to corrosive fuel were also successfully addressed in this product. A very demanding schedule was successfully achieved with early prototype delivery and 1st pass production compliance. In addition to meeting schedule, this was the only competitive product which was fully compliant with the customer’s requirements. The XT-3000 is an excellent example of Xirgo’s strong RF design and implementation expertise as well as rapid time to market capability.
